Kayla joined Healthy Alliance because she believes every individual deserves access to whole-person health care and wants to bring a greater awareness to social determinants of health. She believes awareness is what sparks change for the better in our communities. Kayla graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a bachelor’s in public relations and journalism, and she found her passion for helping others through her work in diversity and mental health campaigns while in college. She previously worked in the education industry doing school PR for local K-12 public school districts. In her spare time, Kayla enjoys finding new local food and beverage businesses throughout the Capital Region, attending live concerts for some of her favorite bands, and spending time with her partner and their cat, Ozzy.
